February is Chocolate Lovers' Month!!

For all you chocolate lovers' out there, this is your month at our Bed and Breakfast! Every breakfast during the month of February will include some morsel of chocolate. Chocolate covered strawberries, chocolate chip pancakes, and chocolate cherry muffins are just a few examples of the treats that might be on your plate to start your morning. First Friday's In Lancaster

The first Friday of each month the arts come alive in Lancaster. Over 60 art galleries and shops stay open till 9:00 PM, some later. Stroll the sidewalks of downtown Lancaster and enjoy the many art shops as well as many unique owner/operated boutiques. Music, food and fun can be had by all. This popular event draws a crowd so the streets are busy with activities. There is a trolley available to ride from 6:30 - 9 PM running 20 minute loops around the core of downtown. Our local Volunteer Fire Companies raise funds each year through auctions. Because many of these items are sold outside during the spring, these auctions have affectionately become known as "mud sales." Items sold vary widely from auction to auction and have been donated or can be consignment merchandise. Items for these auctions often include: quilts, building materials, tools, garden items, furniture, craft items, livestock, buggies and much more! These auctions run throughout the spring.
